WeWork KoreA

4-year anniversary exhibition

WeWork Korea organized an exhibition to mark its 4-year anniversary in its new opening branch, Shinnonhyeon, Seoul.

While I was working on this project, the event had to be changed, due to the impact of COVID-19. As a designer working on this project, I was faced with the challenge of not only developing the design but also revising the goals and illustrations in light of the current global environment. This experience taught me the significance of setting clear goals in the design process, as designing is not just about making something look visually appealing, but also about achieving a specific purpose through continuous ideation.

WeWork Korea

Designer / Illustrator

The initial goal for key visual design was for the opening party of WeWork Korea Sinnonhyeon Branch. To achieve this, I drew inspiration from posters used by other WeWork branches before and created a simple 2D illustration featuring the Sinnonhyeon building.

Based on the feedback from the marketing team, I created a more immersive illustration that shows the interior of WeWork, with a focus on the WeWork Sinnonhyeon Branch.

However, due to COVID-19, the event had to be revised and so did the design. Clients requested that the illustration include WeWork Jongno Tower and Seoul Square branches to showcase the exhibition, highlighting WeWork Korea's journey.
